Ranking methodology

Full rules live in RANKING.md at the repository root. Implementation: src/lib/ranking.ts.

1. FDA / clearance + evidence — Highest weight. We never invent clearance; status stays unverified until primary sources (e.g. FDA 510(k), official IFU) are linked.
2. Published specs & tests — Wavelength, diode count, coverage, session time, and irradiance must be cited from manuals or third-party measurement.
3. Price, value, practicality — Tie-breaker only after the above; includes wear time, form factor, and verified MSRP where available.

UK / ASA alignment: we do not describe devices as cures for hair loss. We report clearance and published evidence only.
